She had known him a number of years having lived in the same row of cottages leading up to St. Peter's Parish Church in Henfield, West Sussex. Last Friday she attended his funeral, which from her account was well attended. He was well known in the village and was particularly known for his love of cricket. When I returned from work this last Friday, Ginny asked me to confirm that it was Framlingham where I went to school, which I replied 'of course!'. She mentioned that Peter's eulogy made particular reference to his happy years as a pulpil at Framlingham College. It turns out he was probably the oldest OF. Well done Peter! It's only with regret that say that I never had the pleasure of meeting you in person, as otherwise I'm sure we would have had plenty of recount of our happy lives at Fram.
