Laurie Rimmer together with his wife Gillian will be remembered with great affection by staff and pupils alike. I joined the staff in the early 70's with Laurie;  his kindness and sympathetic direction were always an enormous support. Above all, Laurie shewed great sensitivity and an understanding of human weakness.  If one was honest with Laurie, he would always show sympathy and suggest a way of overcoming problems,  both with staff and pupils.  I know many people hold Laurie and Gillian in high esteem.  They both gave many years to Framlingham College and Brandeston Hall;   years wihich will not be forgotten.    Michael Baic.   HoD (B.H.)   French / German.  1971 - 2000
