Kenneth George Hammond

1939-2011

Ken Joined the OF Lodge on the 20th of January 1979 and was installed in the Master’s chair in 1989. He also belonged to Horning and Rotary Lodges, and was appointed to a number of significant posts in Norfolk and Suffolk, including Provincial Junior Grand Deacon, Suffolk in 1996 and Provincial Deputy Grand Director of Ceremonies, Norfolk in 2002. He was promoted to Past Provincial Deputy Grand Sword Bearer, Suffolk in 2005.

Ken was also a keen Rugby supporter and was well known to the Norfolk Rugby Union where he became a Senior Referee and Selection Committee Member.
