I had a very good response to my appeal for memories of Framlingham during the war from those who, like me, were there at that time.
They all helped to confirm of revise my picture of those days and I hope will play at least some part in the book being planned about schools generally during that period.
I can't imagine that what happened at Fram will play a major role in the final book but at least we now have, in written form, an anecdotal picture of the times which may find some other outlet.
So thanks to all those who participated with me with contributions from various parts of the world including America, Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific.
