Headmaster Launches "FramSoc"
Paul Taylor, Headmaster of the College, has just announced the formation of “FramSoc”, which he describes as: “A new society, principally aimed at current parents, to enhance and broaden our community, providing opportunities to meet each other and members of staff in a relaxed atmosphere, and to share the educational and cultural facilities available here”.

He goes on to say, “While current College and Brandeston Hall parents will form the principal focus of the society, it will also be open to the wider community, including past parents, teaching and non-teaching staff, and others associated with the College”. This includes, of course, Old Framlinghamians.

The society has been launched at the beginning of term and has an exciting and impressive programme of talks and other activities, about which more details can be found on the College Website

In its first term, Framsoc will be free, but the intention is that it should in future be a self-funding membership-based society, with a modest subscription from January 2011 to cover running costs and College-based events and entertainment.

Old Framlinghamians interested in joining FramSoc, and attending one or more of the Autumn Term events, should contact Amanda Taylor on 01728 723789 or by email at ajt@framcollege.co.uk
