Barry Lorkin writes, "The team, Robin Anderton, Robin Beckwith, Jim Crosbie, Martin Lamb, Barry Lorkin, Michael Spencer, and Peter Watts lost to Chigwell  2-1 in the 1^st round.
 

In the Plate we had an excellent run, beating Ampleforth 2-1 in the 1^st round, and Trent 2½  - ½ in the 2^nd round, before losing very narrowly in the semi-final to Berkhamsted, 2-1, this deciding match being lost on the 19^th hole".
