The Society of Old Framlinghamians Annual Dinner will take place on Saturday 29 March 2014 at Framlingham College. Prior to the dinner, the Society will hold its Annual General Meeting which will take place in the Library at 6.15pm. While this is being held, partners and guests will be able to relax in the Dining Room Annex where Coffee, Tea and a Bar will be available.
The recently retired David Barker (and his wife, Susan), will be joining us as special guests, and we hope that many of those who were taught or coached by David will wish to come and wish him well in retirement, as well to pay tribute to his long service at the College.
Click Read More for further details. Pre-dinner drinks will be served the Dining Room Annex from 7 o’clock, with dinner being served at 7.30pm. The cost of the dinner is excellent value-for-money at £25 per head and, as usual, we are subsidising younger OFs – the first 20 OFs aged under 25 years on 29 March 2014 to apply will be charged only £15. A vegetarian option will be available. Dress is lounge suit or equivalent. Following the dinner, a bar extension has been arranged to 11.30pm.
Overnight accommodation will be available in Pembroke House. The number of rooms is limited and will be available on a first come, first served basis. Rooms will be available from 4.00pm. The cost, inclusive of breakfast is Single Room £25 per person, and £40 for a twin (to be paid in advance). Accommodation details are required by Friday 21st March and no later. Rooms are not en suite and guests will have to use the shared facilities. Breakfast will be served in the College Dining Room on Sunday 30th March between 8.30am and 9.30am.
