Outstanding OF Sopranos to Perform in Framlingham & Southwold
Christina Louise (Christina Johnston-Myachin, V 01-06) and Laura Wright (M 02-08) are performing exclusively at St Edmund’s Church, Southwold on 12th August at 7.30pm, and at St Michael’s Church, Framlingham on 14th August 2011, at 7.00pm. Tickets will be £15.00 and can be purchased at the door.

Christina Louise, having graduated from The Guildhall School of Music and Dram, has been accepted as a young upcoming international singer at The State National Opera House, Prague, under its director and conductor.
Laura Wright, is studying at The Royal College of Music. Formerly a founder-member of the hugely successful group All Angels, she has just released her debut classical folk album “The Last Rose” with Decca records, which has just ‘gone platinum’. See: The Evening Standard, 1st August 2011

Both these young singers were born and raised in Suffolk. They have joined in raising their voices together to bring beautiful music to the people and place they’re proud to call home. They both attended Framlingham College and have since pursued highly ambitious musical careers in which both have been very successful. They love Suffolk and want to give back what Suffolk gave to them, their love of music.

Christina and Laura said, “We would love as many people to know about this concert as possible as it can only happening on these two occasions this summer”. In fact, Christina is flying over from Prague especially to sing in her home county.
