 Teddy Harrington (S 05-10), one of our SOF Moreau Leaving Scholars, has once again demonstrated his energy and enthusiasm for organising sporting and social events. Towards the end of last year, he set up an OF Rugby event (Of Suffolk XV v OF Rest of the World XV) which gained huge support but sadly had to be cancelled because of the pre-Christmas ice and snow.
Undeterred, Teddy is now organising, and recruiting players and spectators for, an OF v OF football match (once again, Suffolk OFs v Rest of the World OFs), to be held at the College on Saturday 16th July 2011.

Those of you who are members of the Old Framlinghamian Sports Facebook Group will be able to find out details there (if you want to join this group, click the link and then click on “Request to Join”). For the convenience of those who aren’t, but who might be interested either in playing or spectating (or joining the party afterwards), here’s the text of the announcement recently posted by Teddy:

General Programme of the Day

► 12 Noon Saturday, 16th July. Teams and Officials will meet at the College in the wooden Cricket Pavilion for a light lunch - then get changed and go out for a little practice on Dicksons. Each player will be charged £5.00 - this is cover costs for the lunch.
► 1:15pm - 1:55pm. Spectators are welcome to join the Players for refreshments (Teas/Coffees and Squash) in the wooden Cricket Pavilion before kick-off.
► Kick-off will be at 2:00pm on Dicksons. It will be a full 90 minute match! If there is a draw at the end of the 90 minutes, then it will be straight to penalties.
► After the match – Teams, Officials and Spectators are invited back to the wooden Pavilion for some light refreshments and the Presentation of the 'Man of the Match' award.
► Finally, depart by about 5:00pm.

If you are interested in playing, please do get in touch and let me know, or just write on the Facebook Wall saying that you are keen to play. As numbers will need to be given to the College a few weeks before the match itself, please can you let me know by Tuesday, 28th June at the latest.
