 Just before Christmas 2008, BBC Essex interviewed Norman’s widow Mullie about his distinguished sporting career. This was to mark the 60th anniversary of him winning a silver medal at the 1948 London Olympics in the Great Britain Hockey team.

Richard Sayer (S56-61) tells me that his much anticipated book on Norman’s life is progressing well and he’s aiming to complete it in a few months time.
