| Golfers Struggle in Cyril Gray Tournaments |

David Turnbull (OFGS Secretary) has reported the following results:
Cyril Gray Tournament at Worplesdon (three pairs, foursomes off scratch, each individual over 50 years of age): 26th - 28th June 2008
The team of Philip Arnold, Robin Anderton, Martin Lamb, Michael Spencer, Colin Stokes and Barry Lorkin lost in round one 2½-½ to Epsom. In the plate competition in the afternoon against Rossall we lost 2-1. Rossall went on to win the plate.
Senior Cyril Gray Tournament at Worplesdon (one pair, each individual over 65 years of age, with combined age of more than 140 years!): 28th June 2008
In the Senior Cyril Gray Tournament (stableford foursomes off scratch) Colin Stokes and Barry Lorkin were paired with Stonyhurst but did not get enough points to be a prizewinner.
