 Brian Aldiss (36-39), the famous science-fiction writer who was awarded the OBE in June 2005, was a guest on Radio 4 Desert Island Discs on Sunday morning 28 January 2007 11:15-12:00 and repeated on Friday morning 2 February 2007 9:00-9:45.  Kirsty Young will invite Brian Aldiss to choose eight records to take to Radio 4's mythical desert island. For those of you who cannot listen on the radio, there is a "Listen Live" link on the Desert Island Disc webpage. Unfortunately, due to copyright restrictions, this programme will not be available on the BBC website "Listen Again" service.
